The Northwest Section of the International Dark-Sky
Association. Dark Skies Northwest is dedicated to preserving and
promoting beautiful night time skies in the Northwest United States.
Since beginning services in 1981, Washington State Parks
has given thousands of people each year a look at the stars through one
of the largest public telescopes in the world.
